| Christmas "2012" We usually start our Christmas morning with, cinnamon rolls, sticky buns or caramel rolls. Caramel rolls were our choice for this year and boy were they delicious. We then all sit down and Papa Corkey reads the Christmas story but this year we had three little 2 year olds in the mix so just a story would not do. So Amiya, Emma and Easton decided to do a game show with questions about the Christmas story. Amiya was the host and quickly called for volunteers and announced the names of Emma, Easton, and Josh. Josh is always such a good sport and id not let us down this time either. They did a really good job with such questions as, "Who wanted to kill baby Jesus?" Santa, King Herod or Frosty the Snowman and "Where was Jesus born?" in an Inn, at the Motel 6 or in a Stable. The older cousins did a great job and may have to help out every year from now on. |

Hopefully my posts will become more timely....Like not months behind the times. Happy Birthday to all these beautiful people! I love you all!

Writing… An Important Thing to Do
Do I actually aspire to be a writer when I can’t seem to but words on the screen or pen to the paper for that matter? I will call this a labor of grace. God has given me the ability to think, create, read and absorb all sorts of meaningful information and he has given me his Word, “The Bible” to discern them through. I have had the opportunity to live life well, to see many different cultures and to do many different jobs. My life as a mother and wife has been very fulfilling and yet challenging (I definitely would not want to be bored). My motivation has been lacking but my mind is always on the move. I am facing a time in my life that I either need to take the leap of a writer and fall off the cliff or I need to start writing everyday and see where God takes me. So here goes….. you have just read the first saga of the of the “Janana Trilogy.” Oh my gosh, that sounds so official. Yes some of you are wondering where the “Book of Greg” exists in this plan, but I guess that is to be seen. I need to start at the beginning as it is the very best place to begin.

We have a new little Gourley who I have not published about yet. He is Sir Isaac Nyguen Gourley (he is not really a sir but it sure sounds official doesn't it). He is now almost 3 months old. He was born on November 8th of 2010. He is adjusting to the wildness of our extended family and will join his fellow cousins Caiden and Ezekiel in lots and lots of little boy fun. Josh and Han are greatly blessed by this new little bundle even if it has changed their lifestyle a bit.

Amiya Turns Seven
Amiya loves her Daddy and is so creative. She loves playing nerf war and thinks that it is the most fun in the world. She is learning to read and will soon join the world of the lost tooth. Yes, it's finally really loose and will come out soon. She has a beautiful voice and sang the National Anthem for a crowd of people this summer.
We are so proud of the great girl you have become.
Amiya, We hope that this birthday is the best!!
We love you!!

Easton's Birthday #4

This little boy is such a bundle of energy and joy. He loves his family, especially his sisters, and his Nana and Papa. Papa was telling all the grandkids about all being in Heaven someday with Nana and Papa. He told Papa that he really wanted to wait and go with his Mom and Dad. Easton, here is to being 4 years old. We love you!
Happy Birthday!

Eight Year Anniversary
Happy Anniversary Josh and Han!
I can't believe that it has been eight years since Josh and Han were married. They are living with us as they build their house in Cheshire and it has been a delight.
